The Idaho Youth for Change Summit is an ongoing initiative to unite students across Idaho for trainings and workshops targeted to youth empowerment, health equity, and social change. The Summit aims to inspire youth to become leaders in their community. The annual IYFC Summit engages and empowers Idaho students to strengthen skills, build relationships, and inspire action towards equitable, healthy, and thriving communities. Adult allies and youth plan and execute the summit in full partnership.
Registration closes at noon on October 1st for folks under 17 to allow us time to send parent permission forms. However if you still want to watch the keynote, check out Insta or YouTube live, or check out the panels on YouTube live. If you are 18 and up, you can register anytime!
This year we will explore the theme: Transforming Our Collective Future! We want to acknowledge the transformation that has been achieved through collective effort, resiliency, and care this past year. Our summit will inspire and empower youth to foster ideas that will create a brighter and more equitable future.

NAT PARRY, a youth coordinator of the Idaho Youth for Change Summit, is passionate about supporting community development in Idaho. “This summit is a great opportunity to bring students together from all around Idaho to work on goals that are important to us! It is a very challenging and stressful time for many people right now. This summit provides a platform for young people to focus on positive and tangible actions that will have meaningful and ongoing repercussions for all Idahoans”, she said.
“This summit is designed to help young people accomplish a stronger sense of community. Youth from diverse backgrounds will interact with each other. This will in turn foster the growth and well-being of their communities, which is what makes this event truly special” said TUCKER BRIGGS, youth leader and coordinator of the Idaho Youth for Change Summit.
